MAY 4 COMMEMORATIVE STUDENT ACTIVISM SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
1999-2000 ACADEMIC YEAR REQUIREMENTS

1. Returning student to Kent State University with 3/4 time minimum enrollment. (9 hours)

2. Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.

 3. Letter from student organization advisor, faculty or staff member documenting activism and involvement in University student  issues.

4. Complete a research paper about May 4, 1970 events (minimum 5 pages-10 pages maximum, double spaced with documented sources).

 5. A personal statement indicating areas of applicant's future interest in activism.

1. Return this application to the Student Financial Aid Office, 103 Michael Schwartz Center, Kent, OH 44242 by April 15, 1999.

2. Attach the 5-1 0 page research paper to the application.
